Immanuel’s stained glass windows are not only beautiful and rare, they proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ! They tell of His birth, death, resurrection and how He is still with us today in the teaching of His Word, Holy Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
There are ten triplicate windows in the nave of the church, each with three symbols or pictures. Each picture and symbol are a witness to what we believe, teach and confess about The Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All of the windows were given as memorials or were donated by families and organizations. The restoration of the windows was completed in December of 1995 at a total cost of $28,900.00. This restoration included re-leading all of the windows, bracing, adding ventilation windows with screens, and replacing the outer protective covering with new Plexiglas.
