Let Us Pray - May 3, 2015

Abide in us, O Lord, that we may abide in You and bring forth the fruits of Your love within us, that we who have known Your gracious favor may show forth Your love to one another. Lord, in Your mercy: hear our prayer.

Abide in us, O Lord, that we may abide in You and live together within the power of Your love, forgiving one another as You have forgiven us, welcoming the stranger as You have welcomed us and proclaiming Your mercy to those not yet of Your kingdom. Lord, in Your mercy: hear our prayer.

Abide in us, O Lord, that we may abide in You and not be overcome by the fears and terrors of this world. Give to all our leaders wisdom, integrity of heart, a desire for justice and a love of peace. Lord, in Your mercy: hear our prayer.

Abide in us, O Lord, that we may abide in You and care for those in need, the hungry, the wounded in body and spirit, the grieving and those in the hour of death [especially all for whom are prayers have been requested: ________________]. May those who call upon You in their need know the fullness of Your healing grace in the day of their trouble. Lord, in Your mercy: hear our prayer.

Abide in us, O Lord, that we may abide in You, that we may receive for our blessing Christ’s holy body and precious blood in this Sacrament and be kept blameless and holy to the day of His coming. Lord, in Your mercy: hear our prayer.

Abide in us, O Lord, that we may abide in You and deliver to You the petitions of our hearts without fear and with full confidence of Your mercy, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Let Us Pray - April 12, 2015

Lord God, as You gather us together on this first day of the week that Your risen Son may come among us with His gifts of forgiveness and peace, grant us faith to receive Him in joy, that having fellowship with Him we might share in His eternal fellowship with You.

Lord, in Your mercy: hear our prayer.

Lord God, as You have given us all things in Your Son, make us of one heart and one soul, that we may not hold onto the things of this world as though they were our own, but freely share what You have given us.

Lord, in Your mercy: hear our prayer.

Lord God, as You sent Your Son to save what was lost, forsake not those who have forsaken You; according to Your mercy, work through us to seek out those who have wandered from Your fellowship, that they might walk once more in Your light.

Lord, in Your mercy: hear our prayer.

Lord God, as You have established worldly authorities to uphold the rule of law and maintain the public good, grant wisdom to all our leaders, remembering especially this day our local governments, that our communities may be ordered in peace and flourish in wholesome industry.

Lord, in Your mercy: hear our prayer.

Lord God, as You have brought us into fellowship with You through Your Son, Jesus Christ, sustain all those who suffer in body or mind with the truth of Your presence with them [remembering especially before You this day ______________]; hear their cries for help, and heal them in accord with Your good purposes.

Lord, in Your mercy: hear our prayer.

Into Your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in Your mercy; through Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
